In theory, a few of them should be impeached, tried, convicted, disbarred, removed, & jailed, since lying to Congress under oath is a federal offense I'm pretty sure.

I agree. People like this are like "please charge me subscription fees for everything I do." These are the people that will pay car manufacturers to "unlock" heated seats, etc.

IMO, the fact that there's no desktop version (AFAIK) and they made it so difficult to discover new content, pages/people. etc., & how many of the users are probably just Instagram users who had accounts auto-added & have no interest in Threads, are the main reasons for the decline.
