You could however, take these boxes, fill them with junk and dump them illegally somewhere. I'm pretty sure someone will track them down to hand them a fine. Source; this happens in the Netherlands on the regular.

Does that matter if they're all federated? Or do you propose to block instances?

Trump wasn't president a year ago, and it was the same back then. Besides that, the communities that aren't supposed to be political tend to get a lot of political content, for instance every time Elon farts it gets posted to the technology communities. The only option not to get confronted with this is to block lots of communities and/or users.

You're confused with punk. And the saying was from the early days of punk, so late 1970's early 1980's.

Youtube shorts are like Instagram reels, nobody likes them but they are probably good for "engagement" aka keeping people on the site for as long as possible.

I'm turning 50 in September.

Thanks, I will. Luckily I realized the wrong quick enough. It wasn't the knock out kind of failure, and they installed three stents in my arteries the very next day. Feeling good right now, though side effects of some medications can suck at times.

I had a real one last year, it was bloody awful and not like anything I'd ever experienced before.

I really wouldn't know if that last statement is true. We were only discussing housing, so not all of the basics. Also, like I said earlier, interest rates on mortgages were higher in the past. I would also consider this when comparing, because the interest can be more than total debt.

But is it also the average household salary? Most boomers were single income. Then in the late eighties early nineties people realized that you could get higher mortgages in a double income, and as a result houses got a lot more expensive. Also, interest rates have declined a lot since the eighties, which also allowed people to borrow more.
