Do you have experience with Beagles? Because you need to know, they'll eat anything, edible or not. Makes for some expensive vet visits.

I read (part of?) this a few years ago, but it wasn't for me. However, your comment reminded me that it might be something for my wife, so it helps out!

It's called sealioning. Draw your own conclusions.

I answered your question "Allegedly? By who?", not the one regarding the "pockets full of cash". But I'm sorry for trying to answer you, it won't happen again. Also, here's a reel of a sea lion for you.

The quote I gave is from the article you linked, if my comment is cryptic to you I'd suggest reading the article again? Orban threatened to veto unless Ukraine agreed to get the Russian gas flowing again, so the EU threw him a bone.

In exchange for relenting, Hungary got EU officials to make a noncommittal statement on the importance of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure — an oblique reference to Budapest’s concerns about the end of Russian gas flowing through Ukraine.

I agree with you, also The player of games is a lot more accesible as a first book in the series. I've never read the last three books though, at some point I decided I had enough SF for a while.

Finished the Bobiverse series. It was a nice read, but I don't think the last one leaves room for another book in this series. I'm gonna start "all systems red" by Martha Wells next, see how that goes. I'm not to sure about the novella format though, I like doing a little longer with a story.

Not quite 2005, but in 2006 olga.net was taken down by the music industry. It only got worse from there.

I don't know if this is possible on Amazon, but on our local alternative (bol.com for the Dutchies) it is possible to buy e-books for one cent, which will get you free shipping. I have quite a selection of e-books I'll probably never read, but which were just the right amount to get free shipping.

I think I worded it a bit wrong. It is news, but our (western) media tends to not report on African (or anything considered third world)) countries. Unless there is sometthing in it for the west. Like, are there natural resources available, which is the case here. So it is news, but tends to be ignored by our media.
