We are excited to announce our e-petition has been supported by MP Matthew Green of Hamilton Centre. We are thankful for behind-the-scenes support from MP Adam Van Koverden and MP Bardish Chagger.

While we remain non-partisan in our work, despite what our biggest fan might say, we welcome all political backgrounds and affiliations. Our group represents many people, many stories, and with that comes many political ideas and approaches.

An easy way to affect Loblaws' bottom line while saving on your own grocery expenses.

Not only will I not spend money at Loblaws stores this month, I will also take $750 away from them by using my points.

Even better is a promotion starts tomorrow that if I spend $60 worth of points, they'll add $20 worth back onto my balance.

For those looking to participate in the community boycott starting May 1st

• We are boycotting Loblaw and Loblaw owned stores for the entire month of May 2024 (obviously you can boycott past this point in time)

• We are asking for a reduction in prices by 15%

• We are asking Loblaw remove "member only pricing" where customers are forced to sign up for a PC optimum card in order to receive sale prices

• If shopping is taking place at Loblaw stores, we are focusing on purchasing loss leaders

Loblaws takes the heat over a tone-deaf price freeze.

And the unprecedented, unjustified, and perhaps unnecessary federal government power grab that nobody cares about.

near the entrance of my local loblaws-type grocery store, someone wrote on a wall

they fixed the price of bread

every time I go there it catches my eye. it is the context in which I do my shopping and when things costs too much i am reminded of the general thievery going on.
