Wasn't it seen as progressive and liberating at the time since it helped cement the existence of the weekend?
Yeah, this was unheard of before.
Also, it's been 100 years. Can we shorten it again?
Right? We are literally in the 21st century, but still cling to the ideals and customs of the industrial revolution.
i think 4 days work week is being tested on many places. would be cool if it becomes a norm.

Ford was innovative because he used the scientific method to find out how long the work-week should be from a factory-owners perspective.
And then he set it to that.
If you're a cog in a wheel in a factory that is still the ideal work-week from your owners perspective, sorry.
Maybe working class people should have their welfare prioritized over the profits of capitalists. Just a thought.
