Respecting each other's dumbass funeral wishes is the true test of love. If you can honour someone's wishes out of respect for the person they were in life, even when they're not around and can't possibly object or be disappointed, it means you loved them for who they were and what they believed in, and not just for how they made you feel, and what benefit they gave you.
