The man who planted an explosive device outside the home of a pro-Palestinian resident has been sentenced to 12 months in jail, despite the court being told about his extensive mental health challenges.
The homemade device was made of a fuel canister with a semi-moist towel stuffed into it, with a disposable lighter and large bolts attached. It was found on a vehicle’s bonnet in Botany.
Bit more effort there than just putting a gas can on the car, mate. Lighter and wick, it's only not dangerous if it's never been used. Even "empty" cans remain flammable for a time due to the fumes left inside.
Yeah, that's why it's perfectly fine to leave a pile of oily rags laying around as well hey. And definitely no chance of hitting ignition point, not in fuckin Australia which has never even seen a fire started by hot weather and no volatile accelerants.
Whether you're a troll or not, you're pathetically thick. Go back to your room and test the padding for the rest of the day bud.

It's not going to light itself

How often are gas cans exploding on their own in Australia?
The ignition point of gasoline is 257* C
Old cars they would just vent the gas tank to atmosphere, parking lots would reek like gas, and everyone smoked.
Oil soaked rags generate a chemical reaction which generates heat. Gas isn't going to do that.
