The mindless GenAI hate is really off the scales on mastodon. I run a FOSS GenAI volunteer service and was trying to join a popular non-profit on mastodon and the non-profit itself got bulled so much that they dropped us. Some of those scolds even tried to bully me because I run the Fediseer.
Fortunately the lemmy crowd is a bit more reasonable with integrations like these.
It really feels like people are aggressively hostile to things they don't like or think are bad. The time and energy spent on hating against a FOSS project is just absurd.
