The guy who puts billions of dollars into privatizing schools?
Why don't they trot out Dick Cheney to endorse USAID?
Walt Disney's frozen head will be the new head diplomat to Europe.
Sorry, Juan Guaido already declared himself interim head diplomat for Europe. The best development agency in the world has given him 98 million to help.
Privatizing schools? The Gates foundation is one of the largest contributor to public schools. My wife is an elementary teacher and they get a ton of donations for supplies to programs. I mean, theres no good billionaire but its nice that he developed a concious at some point.
It mostly goes to charter schools.

And some of that money without a doubt makes it back to him through those private institutions. As well as the tax write offs that save you more money than what you donated.
Philanthropy is a distraction from the actual good that would be done if we never allowed money to be hoarded in the first place.
Nothing will meaningfully improve until the rich fear for their lives
The bill and Melinda gates foundation has done a lot of good though, which is more than can be said for most rich people. But yeah, I agree that no-one should be able to amass that much money, it's obscene.
It would be objectively better to never allow wealth to be hoarded.
We should never even entertain the idea that philanthropy is helpful when it's just stealing from the poor and giving a fraction back.
Lol seriously. Why are we treating these billionaires like elected officials and diplomats? American oligarchy full mask off. Not that most americans will acknowledge it for some weird reason.
Not sure where you are getting that. He did spend a couple billion trying to push for smaller schools back in the 2000s that failed but that went to public schools.
The second article breaks down some other spending later on.
