RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on [email protected]

Mondays is the busiest day of the week, so whenever my off-day falls on Monday I feel some type of way. I don't know if anyone has this experience.

I'm in the middle of the sea over a 100 mile onshore, there's little fun out here plus I'm really into outdoor stuffs like hiking and skiing.

Ahh I know what you mean. Based on your comments and username I can somewhat relate!

Used to be a traveling automation engineer and I've spent a lot of time at the sea as well. But I quit that job after 3 years because I felt like I hadn't enjoyed my free time much in those 3 years (there isn't much to do on big ships either). I got a job with normal working hours and am much happier.

But of course not everyone suffers from that kind of a job - some other people loved that job so I can understand if you like yours as well. Hope you take care of yourself though!

I love my job, I have had this job for more than a decade working on and off the sea. I used to work in a lot more harsher environment Nice to hear from you

Oh wow, that's a long career in difficult environments! Well as long as you like it that's the most important thing!
