Maybe it doesn't work 100% of the time and they don't want to get sued if you trip over something.
That seems a reasonable assumption. I mentioned in another thread about this how it never actually worked for me. My dogs now run to another room when I take out the headset.
They already have huge disclaimers when you set it up, and whenever you set up your boundary. I just hate having this feature removed without any option to opt out of the removal.
