What are the chances that these Athletic articles are agent plants? I haven’t taken/read the Athletic for years. Their articles, at first, seemed interesting and novel. Then it just seemed that every article was a planted puff piece.

I just don't understand how an NBA player's stat line in a shitty amateur contest can possible be a news story to anyone.

I do get people who can attend being excited to see a guy in person if a real game is prohibitive, but he could put up 200 points and it wouldn't be even kind of an accomplishment.
