I'm just tired and don't feel up to the drama of potential scammers. I'm just gonna buy from reliable big stores now or buy on sight.

oh, and I did some image searches, the items I were interested on ebay were not described correctly, they were great items but described ikea etc ๐Ÿ˜

For new stuff sure. I've found facebook and marketplace pretty reliable. People are so happy to deal with a genuine seller/buyer.

do you think it's safe, i'd use a new safe email and not give any other personal info

I killed my Facebook account in 2010. Then about 3 years ago, I tried to sign up a new, mostly anonymous account to use for marketplace and got denied.
Weird - but I didn't care enough to pursue it. I just stick with Gumtree.
