At the beach with a not particularly close friend for maybe the last truly warm evening... I don't hate the beach but man, give me a wide open plain or mountain forest or even a treed river bank any day. Something about the gritty sand and seagulls and stuff in the sand and the endless expanse of the water just makes me feel meh.

It's cool for people watching when it isn't too hectic though.

I'm not a beach person. The smell of gum trees is more appealing.

Cockatoos and corellas are my preferred brand of avian arsehole.
