The thing is, at least on iPhone, is when you first install an app it’ll ask some of these questions and you can say, and should, say no for the most part:

This app wants to track you. Allow?
This app wants to send you notifications. Allow?
This app wants access to your photos? Allow?
This app wants to see your contacts. Allow?

Etc.
