Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.

Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

Seems like every day the posts on Lemmy start blaming people who can do nothing to fix this and did their best to stop it but were overwhelmed by an international club of authoritarians. And now we few who are not targeted are being blamed for being ourselves.

Give us a path that we can take to change shit. Fucking Christ, I can only plan so many minor friction points in my fields of expertise to slow down the march. Now I'm being blamed for cooperating.

Fucking hell. This is why the movement doesn't grow or counter anything - the aggressive blaming of people who are trying to do the right thing.

I admire you sentiment. And you seem to have a lot of frustration. So, I am going to annoy you with why most people involved in politics in the USA cannot stop what is happening.

There is a major barrier to currently participating inside reformist politics in the USA. One has to assume the institutions are solid enough to be reformed by peaceful protests. And one has to assume the voting for the politicians in most states were done fairly and accurately. Those that think otherwise are simply not part of the process you are familiar with, and have no headway in changing stuff.

This means the current crop of well known political activists and leaders are worthless for constructive change. And the rank and file have no good leaders. Those seeking for inspiration, such as yourself, remain uninspired.

I do not think this situation can be changed, in the near future. I am sorry. There are powerful reasons this cannot change
