The developer, Bit Reactor, has some of the minds behind XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, Elder Scrolls Online, and more.

Which Gears though? And which Civ for that matter!

I play tested the Gears tactical game, it was good for the state it was in when I had a shot. However! It was super obvious that there was going to be heavy lootbox mechanics implemented, and I'm worried that this will end up being just a MTX money wringer....
