I absolutely despise how common trans and lesbian porn is thats specifically designed for straight men (in many cases they will even subvert trans ppl to their disgusting fantasies by depecting them as "futa"). Even worse, there are truly disgusting people that will go out of their way to sexualize and objectify Asexual people.
I am not a porn category, I am not a fetish, I am not a "futa", and I am especially not someone who "just hasnt had good sex", I am a trans women and I am Asexual
Well to be the devil's advocate here...
Everyone and everything gets sexualized and not you not anybody can demand what goes on in other people's heads. You can sexualize me all you want and there is nothing I can do about that.
On the porn level, well, yeah... People make porn with trans actors, sometimes it's aimed at straight people and yes, it objectifies trans people, but then again. ALL porn objectifies everything, it's kind of the point. Porn is fantasy, escapism. It's really not that different from an action movie.
Rambo slaughters hundreds of people, and it's okay because it's a movie, a fantasy. All the actors involved are still alive and well. The same goes for the trans (or asexual) actors in porn videos. I think it's important to remember that this is just all fantasy and if you don't like it, please by all means, don't watch it. However, I think it's not right that you start demanding that "straight" men cannot watch trans porn if they want to. Unfortunately you don't get to decide what runs around in my head, just as I don't get to decide what runs around in your hear or what turns you on.
I think we should all tone it down a little. Just because someone likes trans porn doesn't make them disgusting.
Yes, trans people can be fetishised, just like straight men can be. You never saw porn where a straight guy gets lured and and then "raped but he likes it" by another man? If it's not your thing, fine, it's not my thing either but if you do like it, by all means, watch it and enjoy it.
Once you're done, you're back in the real world and there your interactions are different because we all (well most of us) know the difference between fantasy and reality.
Just for the record: I'm sure loads of people (men, women, and trans alike) have interacted with me whilst playing some porn scenarios about me in their heads, objectifying the crap out of me. That. Is. Fine. I won't judge others for their fantasies and desires as long as they don't objectify me, and behave in the real world.
Trans being fetishised is frightening. You're a person, not a sex toy, and you deserve respect. Sexual assaults against trans can start with fetishising the community and it's vile. I agree with you about male gaze lesbian porn... ridiculously long nails, rubbing the clip like you're trying to start a fire etc... it's not how we do it!
Ive even personally experienced it, there a man I have the misfortune of knowing who sees me as nothing but a sexual object >~<
Why? Everything is fetishised, so why not trans persons? Actors have tonnes of fake porn shots out there, loads of people objectify the crap out of them, and it is all a fantasy.
There are LOADS of people out there with rape fantasies, look up CNC. That doesn't mean they want to be raped, it means they have fantasies.
Similarly, lots people have fantasies about trans persons. A lot of them, unfortunately, are the people who want to ban anyone from being LGBT (I guess these people are ashamed of themselves) and I think the world would be a lot better if people would kust open up a bit about their fantasies.
Human beings are weird and most of them are very sexual. I can understand that you don't like that, but you can't dictate what people like and not like
To me a kink or interest is different to a fetish. Trans are a vulnerable group who are at increased risk of violence, suicide and other mistreatment. I work in the VAWAG and IME people with a trans fetish are often just dangerous. It's not a scenario based fantasy, its objectification and ive often found they start with fetishising and move onto violence.
