Wildlife update:There are many bees in the trees.
This was taken yesterday at the st kilda botanic gardens.
Image is a bee collecting pollen on the yellow pollen bits of a light pink poppy with some poppy buds near it and green foliage.
Wow the details of the little hairs in that picture.. thank god you're not photographing my legs at the moment!🌵

This is very good news
It really is. I feel like I haven’t seen them in forever. All of a sudden BOOM! They’re everywhere in surrounding garden and trees. Got a real buzz from that.
Does it not mean some things are blooming unseasonably early? (Aside from some wattles)
Maybe? Ecology is all over the shop these days
I haven't seen any too early blooms this year. It has been dry tho.
