I think it's fine this time because:

I disagree. Our politics is becoming increasingly Americanized, and tribal.

Governance should not be about trying to "one up" or "slam" others, or play political theatre.

I was being sarcastic. You're preaching to the choir. I'm usually pretty quick to point out that Postmedia Group is American owned, and essentially propaganda.
