Idk I think the current inertia of people vandalizing teslas will hurt teslas sales more than anything else. Collateral damage sucks in every conflict, but it is feasible that this collateral damage may be considered acceptable by some.
Even if there was a person who could get over or even liked elon's idiocy, they would probably think twice before buying a tesla because of the idea of it getting vandalized.
