I don't hate AI. I hate technology that disenfranchises workers, even moreso when they make a living from their art as I do.
anyone who actually genuinely likes the technology should despise how it's used, like how oppenheimer hated his work being used to vaporize people.
we could be living in a world where models are exclusively trained on public domain content and things made by people who actively consent to it, but instead rich shithead techbros just blithely throw the entire internet at their massive server farms every week in the hopes that it's 0.2% better this time
