Nintendo. They definitely do some frustrating things sometimes, but I don’t think they're anywhere near the worst in the industry right now. But the circlejerk at any mere mention on this platform has become beyond insufferable.
I've had someone tell me I'm killing gaming because I said I'm excited that Kirby Air Ride is finally getting a sequel after 22 years. Fuck off and let me enjoy things!
The problem with nintendo is they hate their community. They take down community projects like emulators. Issue DCMAs consistently on youtubers/streamers for playing nintendo games, especially ones playing modded games. And they are massive patent trolls, as in the case of palworld.
Sad because their game developers really do make very creative games. But their executives and lawyers can go to hell.
A lot of this energy going on there! 😮
