My 17 year old cat passed away a couple of months ago. I got her when she was 2 and we bonded immediately. I have a photo of her laying on my lap the first night I got her, belly up and looking very content. That night she ended up twanging the door stop.
She was such a great cat with an adventurous spirit, but also super cuddly. I have a lot of photos of her in my lap. She was also super food motivated. I have a series of photos of her slowly sneaking towards my other cat's food, hoping that I wouldn't notice.
What a special bond it is to have a companion for so many years.
