Upvoted. I disagree, and I think we need fewer cars and more public transportation, but if you don't like that community by all means block it.
Build trains and there would naturally be less cars yeah. But hating on cars as a blanket statement is stupid lol

I haven't owned a personal auto in 12 years. I hold a class a license (to drive semi trucks). Our dependance on cars has destroyed the earth and our society. We've salted the earth with parking lots. We're angry angry and fat people. Fuck cars.

Exactly my point. You don't get that Fuck Cars is hardly even about the cars themselves.
@[email protected] to be specific, [email protected] is "A place to discuss problems of car centric infrastructure or how it hurts us all." The key word there is "infrastructure".
Cars are amazing technological achievements, but many places have very poor infrastructure that is too focused on ONLY supporting cars (often single-passenger). This causes a variety of problems as discussed in that community. In fact, if we had better infrastructure you'd be able to enjoy driving even more because there'd be less traffic.
"Fuck cars" is a bit of a misleading name, but I guess it's catchier than "hooray infrastructure".
I bet they don't even know how to run a train, posers.
