Yeah, it seems that the DTers moved here, but the r/melbourne posters stayed. It's quite a weird schism

I'm happy not to have the dodgy posters come over, but it would be nice to have more posts in the main community. My theory is that the main Reddit community could be a bit toxic and people learned to stay in the DT and it will take time for people to feel that the main community is also a safe place.
