Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title
The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.
Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to the Steam Deck in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.

Okay but like, you could have just kept the screen, joysticks, touchpads and buttons and it's only slightly larger LOL
True, but he's mainly wanting a keyboard setup for it. This is only slightly thicker than the keyboard by itself, and reduces the pieces he has to bring with him to keyboard + glasses.
There's also the added memory of a guy sitting in a coffee shot wearing sunglasses, typing away on a keyboard without a computer in sight. Should be an excellent start to roleplaying a blind schizophrenic at starbucks.
I'm not one to yuck anyone's yum, it just sounds like a waste of time and money.
I do want to try this now though haha. Especially when desktop mode comes to Pixels.
Instead of a keyboard it should be the loudest most old fashioned typewriter possible, but still connected to AR glasses
just get cherry MX blue switches
Could connect it to a virtual boy display
