it already happened.

he said he'll exempt some industries from ice raids. those who work well be even more desperate, and the bosses will be able to call ICE to kidnap whichever worker isn't performing as desired. under those conditions it might as well be slavery without the actual ownership.

remember reading an national geographic article about modern slavery.

it focused in Dubai construction, Israel sex trade (kidnappings), and US farms.

it was really depressing.
