Literally everything this guy does ends up feeling like a scam lol

[–] [email protected] 94 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Even his face is a scam. I've never seen anyone whose entire facial expression looks like a constant veneer, barely hiding how he only sees others as an opportunity for exploitation. It's uncanny.

[–] [email protected] 47 points 5 days ago (4 children)

It’s his eyes. He smiles but if you cover the bottom half of his face, all traces of a happy or pleasant look from the smiling disappears. A genuine smile also makes the eyes “smile”.

His eyes look a bit ketaminey to me

[–] [email protected] 9 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Can we not equate ketamine with sociopathic losers?

Ketamine doesn't make you a piece of shit.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Did I offend the ketamine addict community? So unbelievably sorry 😭

It is, he gave stuff away, but was sponsored or he was still making bank. There are so many selfless people out there, but he is not one of them.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago

While I agree with Mr Beast being a scam, I do have to take issue with your definition

Being sponsored and making bank would be key to a sustainable cause if he were genuine about it.

Of course he's not, but the monetisation isn't what we should demonise

maybe I'm cynical, but he always gave me the wrong vibes.

like I'm waiting for the revelation that he did something terrible.

I get the same vibes from blippy, I hated when my ex let my kids watch it in unlimited autoplay.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 4 days ago (1 children)

What revelation are you waiting for? He's already awful.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

diddling minors, mr Beast, maybe, Blippy, I'm sure

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

It's not like the threshold for being bad is as high as hurting children lol. You can still be a bad person even if you're not diddling minors lol.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

i know, but my gut tells me to never let my kids near blippy.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I'm not saying Blippi hasn't done anything (I don't even know what the allegations are), I'm just saying even if Beast didn't diddle children he's still bad.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

there's no allegations against blippy.

he just creeps me out so much.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago

No allegations, but there's still the Harlem shake poop video.

It's on archive.org if you feel the need. I don't recommend it.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Didn't that already happened? Like his ex employees coming out and talking about bad or missing payments and about the setup of his games being biased. It's been a while so I don't quite recall the details.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Yeah, all that sweepstakes fraud, plus the torture/abuse in videos that never aired, like Jake Weddle in dogpack404s video.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 5 days ago

yhea, crazy he is still successful.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago

Same vibes Ellen always gave me. You can feel it in the eyes

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

blippi did a harlem shake video where he shit all over his friend

[–] [email protected] 25 points 5 days ago (1 children)

He's a pretty empty shell of a person I think. There was a yt vid about his tv show being idiotic and that he just doesn't understand being funny or entertaining and thus does his weird money things

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

If his shows aren't entertaining why are so many people entertained by them? Makes no sense. People may have no taste, but that's a different issue.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 5 days ago

You're right, entertaining is the wrong word
