I found the sequel on DVD over a decade ago for $5. Still haven't watched it.

Maybe the longer I wait the better it will get?

Nah, watch it now. It’s been 30 years already, it’s time to watch the fusion of new tech and the threat of society collapse was envisioned in the mid 90’s.
