What are some good products that are designed for the elderly/people with arthritis?
(self.nostupidquestions)
There is no such thing as a Stupid Question!
Don't be embarrassed of your curiosity; everyone has questions that they may feel uncomfortable asking certain people, so this place gives you a nice area not to be judged about asking it. Everyone here is willing to help.
Reminder that the rules for lemmy.ca still apply!
Thanks for reading all of this, even if you didn't read all of this, and your eye started somewhere else, have a watermelon slice ๐.
No problem, I know you mean really well. So did the people who bought me some crappy items gathering dust in the corner ๐
If they've already identified objects, that's great though. It sounds like their arthritis is limiting their grip strength, hand open/close action and maybe twisting objects is the problem too. Perhaps instead of a new gas cap, a more universal tool like a smaller lever clamp might be useful for multiple things and can be kept in the car.
Not professional advice though, hands are not my area. Good luck!
