The former chief executive of S4C has been rushed to hospital after an "overdose". Sian Doyle's husband has released a statement after finding his wife unresponsive during the night.

It has been confirmed that the statement about Mrs Doyle, originally from St Asaph, was released with her knowledge, reports WalesOnline. In it her husband Rob said: "This morning my wife, Sian Doyle, was rushed to hospital.

"She had taken an overdose during the night and was unresponsive when I tried to wake her." Yesterday (Wednesday) a report released by the S4C board included evidence it had taken from people at S4C who had been highly critical of her leadership.

For those wondering what S4C is - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S4C

S4C (Welsh pronunciation: [ˌɛs ˌpɛdwar ˈɛk], Sianel Pedwar Cymru, meaning Channel Four Wales) is a Welsh language free-to-air public broadcast television channel.
