I can't understand why this gets so little attention. Admittedly I don't follow much news, but I only learned about it when Air Canada put me in one of these hotels back in August.
I know Facebook is evil, but it seems to be where they are "gathered". I won't link to it, but if you use Facebook you can search for "unite here local 40". Or, you could go direct to their web site: https://www.uniteherelocal40.org/
Who's going to give labour the attention? The corporate media owned by strike busters? The public broadcaster that's been completely taken in by neoliberalism? For-profit social media with content fetching algorithms controlled by anti-union billionaires?
Yeah - that makes sense. But I consider myself very left leaning and tend to follow left leaning media - still nothing.
