Those examples are actually lost sales though from earthquakes and stuff.
Whereas when I pirate 'Fast and Furious 37' there is no lost sale as I would never under any circumstances pay to watch it.
Totally agree that if you download FF7 then definitely you yourself would never have paid to watch it. I guess things are different when you download FF7 and distribute that freely amongst people who would've otherwise paid for it, and in turn causing lost sales.
Anyway, people who would pay for it, would have paid for it already if paying for a content meant owning it. Unfortunately the Big Corp fuckers are basically renting out content against a non-refundable deposit.
