I used to use this til I found out it sends data straight to Google.

They use Bing as a backend. So it'll be Microsoft if anyone.

Thanks, I couldn't remember if it was Google or Bing.

It uses both bing and google providers.

They do use google as a search provider but when you click on the ads on Ecosia the profits are used for planting trees.
