It's still false consciousness which satiates our appetite for change while not actually doing anything meaningful.
What is your suggestion then? If you know so much.
This is a method to to sequest carbon. We shouldn't being doing the same things and expect different results, look were that got us today.
You could argue the money might be better spent investing in low carbon energy. Acting as an investment fund for companies and individuals that want to increase their solar capacity but don't have the funds to do so. That way they're helping to stop carbon getting into the atmosphere in the first place.
What is to be done...?
