Just finished the last of this calligraphy practice. Only two mistakes!! I'm quite happy with it. I love the red water colour. :) ( oh dear, the closer I look the worse it looks ) π
To a completely uneducated eye, that is so beautiful. I love the energy in each character.
Thanks. That's restrained!! If I had my way I'd be doing arabesques and flourishes on everything https://duckduckgo.com/?q=flourishes&atb=v314-1&iax=images&ia=images
Wow that looks AMAZING :o
thanks. π
I have no idea what it means but it is very pretty and dexterous :)
It's the most famous mantra from the Heart Sutra.
βGone gone, all the way over, gone to the other shore of enlightenment.β
If you have ever watched or read Monkey and Journey to the West this is shown by the pilgrims sailing to the other shore of a river in a bottomless boat.
One of the pilgrims, the real life person Tripitaka, wrote this sutra.
Ty for explaining :)
Thatβs impressive. It looks really good!
I reckon it looks beautiful! I'd put it on my wall.
