Relay for Reddit was my preferred app as well. Still have it installed, just used it to check something. Won't be subscribing though. I'd rather pay a membership for a co-op instance or donations to a non-profit organized instance.

Mastodon has been great, and now Lemmy is great. Reddit (and Twitter, and Facebook, et al) can all whither away as far as I'm concerned.
