I'm in agreement and I would like some serious discussion here.
For me the main thing I really am itching to discuss is...
For many of us, we're terrified of telling anyone that we're autistic. Personally, I know it would just screw me over in just about any context.
I'm BIPOC and my psychologist is BIPOC too-- she straight up told me to be extremely careful with who I talk to, in terms of saying that I am autistic. Told me not to mention it to police, nor to fill it out on any official paperwork because she's convinced that it will just create massive problems for me in the end because she's seen in happen in the past to clients.
I have heard of this event happening to some people (primarily the U.S) and I also hate it; capitalist societies force people to hide a part of themselves so that they can conform and be a cog.
Autistics should not have to worsen themselves to live; but this is the result of wage labor: it's impossible to keep yourself alive, because wage labor prevents it.
I hope there's better luck in other countries.
