I'm honestly unsure how or why he's ended up in the position he is it, it may just be that there's little other choice on the right-wing for people in Wales and he's just the only thing over that way at the minute.
I'm surprised we haven't seen more Reform characters on the scene down here in South Wales.
I thought that might have been the case as well, certainly down the south west. I'm from the other south originally and I still can't get my head around having David Davies in office (at the risk of conflating MPs and AMs). Lots of parodies, tropes, and long standing gags - but I've never really understood why.
I've spoken with him on a couple of occasions and he's a genuine and nice enough bloke, but we couldn't be further apart on 90% of issues.
