What on earth is going on?

• May 17th and 18th in Ajax, at the same house (https://www.drps.ca/news/shots-fired-at-residence-in-ajax-1/)
• May 19th in Whitby (https://www.drps.ca/news/shots-fired-at-residence-in-whitby/)
• May 20th in Oshawa (https://www.drps.ca/news/no-injuries-after-shots-were-fired-at-a-home-in-oshawa/)

Nearly all of these happening in the middle of the night, with police finding shell casings, but no victims or suspects.
