Winter density (green) and Forellenschluss (red speckled). Both are romaine.

I have that same lettuce, but always label it as ā€œspotted lettuceā€ because thereā€™s no chance I can spell or pronounce that name.

Totally! They sell it here as Freckles (which is actually a cute name!) as well. Itā€™s an old Austrian variety and I find the name nice and unique. I also speak German so I have an unfair advantage.
