If someone died from that heart inflamation thing triggered by the vax they were likely to have been wiped out by the virus since it triggers that inflamation too.

By the way if its the same person you were talking about a few weeks ago there's results from the bigest study to date that came out days ago saying ivermectin doesn't help fight Covid at all.

This probably depends on age and sex. Especially in younger males the risk of myocarditis due to vaccination may surpass that of the virus. There's been an interesting discussion about this on Hacker News a few months back: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29697780

Some data from 2014 to 2018: https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/56/2/80.long

From 2014 to 2018 cases of sudden cardiac death (SCD), survived sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and traumatic sudden death were recorded by media monitoring [...] Inclusion criteria were met when sudden death occurred during football-specific activity or up to 1 hour afterwards. Death during other activities was excluded.

A total of 617 players (mean age 34±16 years, 96% men) with sudden death were reported from 67 countries; 142 players (23%) survived.

The way I see it: This is sadly not so uncommon to happen and if you look for it you will find quite some cases. Unfortunately I have not found data for 2021/22 yet.

So what? Ask them what conclusion they draw from this.

AV: He's young, he's fit, and then when he was playing soccer he just collapsed out of the blue

I think that thousands of young, fit people collapse out of the blue all the time. It much rarer than obese sickly people, of course, but it absolutely is not rare.

Half the US population has gotten the vaccine. So... it's flat out not even slightly unlikely that in this big old world there's going to be some cases of sudden cardiac deaths, that came shortly after taking the vaccine, simple statistics. What we actually want to know is trends... can we prove statistically that more people statistically had Sudden cardiac events that got the vaccine, versus people who did not.

Then of course even further, we then have to weigh the risks. If we demonstrate the increase in risk to one aspect from the vaccine, then we have to compare it to the risks of getting covid without the vaccine, and the odds of getting covid, and the fact is, those 2 things are pretty damn demonstrably significant.

So in short the plain and simple response is, for every one case you can show me that "might" be caused there's 1000 cases of people dying because they didn't get the vaccine.
