As a mature student returning to school after a few years in the workforce I feel like a lot of this burden is felt by students as well. I think that a lot of the "online learning" shift offloaded a bunch of this work onto students, I've got A BSC and MSC and this degree that I'm doing now is just a completely different level of time/effort and I feel like i'm battling the ciriculum delivery more than the course content. Its absolutely brutal for mental health and it drives me nuts this is the new normal. We're paying a lot to be there and I don't think its too much to ask for a better experience.
