In a notice of motion to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in May, lawyers for the force said "the officers fear for their safety and mental wellness, and for that of their family members."

Choudry's family members say the move for a publication ban reeks of irony. "Despite ignoring my father's safety and well-being in the midst of a mental health crisis, these officers have asked the courts to respect and prioritize theirs," said Choudry's daughter, Nemrah Ahmad.

That's about all that needs to be said.

Their names should be published, Ejaz Choudry's family didn't seem to get the option for a publication ban on his name.

Eric Boynton killed Beau Baker in April 2015. He used legal challenges to keep his identity secret that delayed the inquest for EIGHT YEARS. Back in 2015, Beau went to the emergency dept of Grand River Hospital more than 20 times in a single month, BEGGING for help. He didn't fucking get any.

We NEEDED that inquest. Eight years later, there is STILL not help. I was looking for the same kind of help as Beau in 2015 and I'm still hoping to find some today. Fuck you, Eric Boynton, and fuck this officer.
