I just bought a new set. We used to have a vertical stacked set but only the bottom washer was unrepairable. We had to rearrange a lot of stuff in our laundry room to get a side by side set in there but we found one that worked nicely. WAY bigger capacity than our last units and only $50 more than the cheapest set available. And yeah, it's not smart. No Internet.

Chances are the highest tech devices would actually be cheaper then the ones without all the useless bullshit. They want that data so they lose money on the machine. You opt for no controls to steal your data and you gotta pay more for it.
It's easier to go to a laundromat than to deal with any washer.

Lots do, and they're worth it if you can afford it. I wash and fold my own stuff, though.
