My home theater set up is going into my basement area that is below my sunken living room. This makes my ceiling down there only 7 feet tall.
Should I mount my debut 2.0 a4.2 foot atmos speakers on the wall pointed to my viewing position? Or is up-firing ideal for this ceiling height? I looked at Dolby atmos documentation and they lean towards anything 7.5 and below is great for upfiring.
Some more context:
- My viewing position is 8 feet from my tv.
- debut 2.0 6.2 bookshelf speakers
- uni-fi 2.0 center speaker
- rsl speedwoofer MKii that I am desperately waiting to be back in stock so I can order it
