I stopped browsing Reddit in July
I uninstalled it yesterday to stop wasting so much time scrolling. Lemmy having so much less content is a bobsend.

I haven't been back to Reddit since The Exodus. I uninstalled the app. I suffered waiting for Boost to become available for Lemmy.

As far as I'm aware it's completely broken due to the API restrictions?
If you're a mod of a subreddit, it still works.
Can you make your own sub on the desktop then use that to use the app?
(I don't plan on going through all this effort to browse Reddit lol just curious if it works or if they thought of that.)
Yeah that works, I made a private sub a few months ago.
There's patches to use your own keys, which would fall under the free tier for most people unless you're a raging Reddit addict.
Still works fine with my API key.
Downloading videos is broken though.
Am using stealth. No keys necessary. Just add your favourite subreddits and you are done
Only cards like view, eww. At least Red Reader has customization options.

I do. I use reddit for a few things (even though it sucks. I made my own sub so I could be mod and boost works well

Still works for me, I think I'm either a moderator of some defunct sub or posting to my own u/ page at some point counts towards being a moderator.
My wife does. Lemmy has next to nothing to offer her.
