Over time the software + just getting used to the hardware has made these so much better.
Took me forever to realize that the main value of the nose pieces is not just comfort -- it's so you can see all 4 corners of the screen in fullscreen mode.
Once I realized that I swapped my middle for a large and damn are toolbars easier to see + navbars easier to read!
Also I realized I had been running the AR on 72 hz mode (which is awesome, but more than I need for casual video viewing), so I dropped it down to 60 and suddenly video became buttery smooth, no weird tearing or artifacts.
Also clicking the arms up to find the right offset height.
Then I realized you can subscribe to shows on a ton of other channels through YouTube, and then watch them with no DRM issues via YouTube desktop, which works super well. Watching movies on it with good headphones is just amazing, you get so much fine tune control of the screen and how you position yourself.
And there are so many Samsung DeX optimizations I've been able to make to make it more livable -- tweaking font sizes, figuring out the best browsers and IDEs for software development. Updateing One UI and customizing the navbar, etc.
Also little tricks like learning Ctrl + L jumps to the URL bar in a browser (since for whatever reason Chrome doesn't auto focus).
So much fun, excited to see how fast they can move the software side.
