  • Told a friend about it last July 20. Friend preorders

  • Beam gets released July 25

  • I get my shipping notification on July 27 -- Status: Shipping Label Printed

  • Friend sees Beam being sold at a local eCommerce site on July 27. He cancels his preorder and buys that

  • His Beam arrived today, August 1

  • Friend rubs it in my face.

  • I just checked the tracking status of my order - Status: Shipping Label Printed
